Wordifly takes the runners-up prize at this year’s Very Big Indie Pitch at Pocket Gamer Connects Bangalore 2016 Monarchy may have grabbed first place at this year’s Very Big Indie Pitch at Pocket Gamer Connects Bangalore, but Wordifly was a close runner-up.

Like moths to a flame

Wordifly is one of those games that’s extremely easy to pick up and play, whilst also being highly addictive.

The premise is simple: you are a firefly who must spell out words and collect stars in order to maintain your upwards flight.

You control Glowee the firefly by tilting your phone or tablet from left to right in order to collect the floating stars, each of which holds a letter that you can use to spell out any word that has more than two letters.

Each word you gain gives you more and more fire in order to fly, with more difficult words granting you more power than shorter ones.
