Elk is an upcoming blend of stealth and puzzle platformer, as you guide a lone elk through a forest filled with dangerous hunters and other hazards.

Your family gone, you must traverse these strange lands, hiding in the shadows to evade the human enemies lurking in the dark woodlands and abandoned ruins.

Besides cautious creeping and hiding, you’ll also be able to set traps and utilize other woodlands creatures to your advantage, such as birds that can distract hunters.

The aspect of Elk that most stands out is its unique art style. The titular character is hand-animated through stop motion and models. The other individuals you encounter are animated in a similar fashion.
