App Army Assemble: Paul Pixel You’re just an ordinary dude called Paul who’s forced into trotting off on an epic adventure to save humankind from an alien zombie invasion.

No, not you personally – your character in Pixel Paul, a brand new retro-inspired point and click adventure which just launched on mobile.

If you grew up playing games like this, you’ll feel right at home. From the art style right down to the chip sound audio, Pixel Paul is a real love letter to retro point and click adventures.

The adventure will need to wait a bit longer as Sorcery! Part 4 is delayed to September 22nd

If you were hoping to finally reach the Crown of Kings this week, your wait for adventure will last a few more days, as Sorcery! Part 4 has been pushed back to next Thursday.

Inkle talked about the delay on their blog today, stating the reasoning as preparing to make the release as good as possible.

The final part of the interactive fiction quadrilogy follows your adventurer as they infiltrate the infamous Mampang fortress and attempt to defeat the Archmage, using disguises, new magic and spells, and careful choices to proceed.

In the meantime, you can currently grab the first three Sorcery! games for £0.79 / $0.99 each.
