After a very interesting general meeting with Nintendo’s shareholders, Nintendo hinted at developing a controller for mobile.Director and General Manager of Entertainment Planning and Development, Shinya Takahashi, stated “Physical controllers for smart device applications are available in the market and it is possible that we may also develop something new by ourselves.”
While this certainly isn’t concrete enough to start jumping up and down it’s an interesting turn that, if proven to be true, could bring consumers back into the Game Boy era. And that, ladies and gents, is very exciting indeed.
